A Letter from the Desk of the Founder

My delightful students and distinguished parents,
You may not know but I have been poetically rejoiced in the navigation of the education universe right since the inception of my academic evolution. However, I have been curiously specific to English literature in my standard studies. Interestingly, I was introduced to such a subject which fetched me wonders of the world – English poetry. A lifelong longing.
A subject which possibly mirrored me to the original countenance of Nature of life and the sense of service. Needless to be startled, it freed my caged heart towards the discovery of knowledge on my own terms and ground, which perhaps boxes one of the many reasons behind me being still a pupil of literature and certainly this purposeful pursuit of discovery in me as a student will always be there on the top of all circumstances so long as I propagate it to generations through you allby various means and manifestations.
Now, the automatic question which sets your mind in motion is how come I established an institution so early in my learning career. Foremostly, let me put it up very explicitly to you that I firstly consider myself a pupil, and subsequently, a propagator ofPoetry, maybe a Newton’s Prism, through which the original ray of sensibility passes and changes into multiple beams of apprehension.
And where to finda location for this experimental prism but my teaching space, be it anywhere in the world. Nevertheless, I always yearned to discover a separate teaching space of my own, focused and perennial in its nature, unchanged by an external set of trends – something like the teaching space of Rabindranath Tagore – far away from all hustle and bustle into the world of solitude and contemplation. Precisely, a space where I can implement my idea of education. My personal one. And this is how Derozio Mission School came into shape.
The idea behind setting up this institution largely heraldedfrom my navigation on the ocean of educating process in our society which I sensed while training classes of students in multiple prestigious institutions with sophisticated brand value accredited to their names.
I, in every way, take a sense of pride in saying that I succeed in promoting my culture of education substantially in all educating venues but for a limited amount of time as my philosophy of education sometimes intersecttheir recorded set of principles.
Remorsefully, I find those verbal principles either too hollow to be implemented or a complete fiasco post implementation on the fanciful minds. And the reason being is that they lack the sense of functional approach in the learning procedures and are rather loosely based on the redundant and showymethodologies.
And since a parroted pattern of teaching may ensure the mind a better sense of memorization, but can never prompt the student to walk through streets of practical life with his personal beliefs and opinions.As a result, this very juxtaposition turned into a vision for my type of educating space.
Thus, we all are here – toiling yet celebrating our journey towards accomplishinga pattern of education which is fundamentally based on investigation resulting in making our personal opinions, the soul of this institution.
